I think I checked most of the threads here (def may have missed it), but I didn't see a lot of talk about how the KT sounds though different Z cabs or speakers.
What are you all finding makes the magic with this head?

I play mine through a Marshall 1922 2x12 fitted with Weber Thames ceramic speakers. Awesome combination!
I use it for my Pink Floyd tribute duo and it absolutely nails the David Gilmour tones. ;D

It sounds good with lots of cabs and speakers. Opinions vary about what sounds like magic. Sometimes you'll hear an opinion that a given speaker has too much bottom end or not enough bottom or not enough clarity etc. etc. but the player won't describe the type of cabinet and other factors in the signal chain that can change the final tonal outcome. So, you really need to know that stuff before you can assess the opinion. Plus, people's ears vary - some people can hear highs better than others.
The guy from Ultrasound who sold me my KT-45 knows much more about amps than I do. He said the Celestion G12H30 was the ideal speaker for this amp. I tried it and several others and ended up with a 50W Weber ceramic Blue Dog. (Note - I'm not crazy about alnico speakers, so my taste is different from many. I like the alnico sound but it's not for me.) I'm still not sure my Blue Dog is the ideal speaker for this amp. It's good though. It's depends on what you like, and what you're using the amp for. If you can figure those things out, then you're halfway there.

I like mine best through Weber 1265's in a 2x12 closed cab.
Speaking of cabs: I just picked up a Motion Sound SRV-112. The Kt45 sounds great through it. Cab is cheap particle board, and I heard a clicking after 10 minutes of use. I opened it up to find the drum was rubbing the auto stop lead wire, so I adjusted the wire away from the drum slightly. No problems now. Great think is small and loud enough, plus when the drum is stopped it is a handy 112 cab. No quite as punchy, but who needs more punch with a KT45?
