I want to that Curt for coming up to Cowtown bringing me a amp and hanging with me and BW , swapping some riffs{ bring your video next time} and a great lunch. now to the Mazerati. I haven't played it on a gig but I can already tell this amp is the real deal. you cant hid behind this amp. got up early and yanked out the V-30 and put my usual Tonker. its a beast. gonna be a fun year of continued great tone thanks to Z. this is my 3rd Z and I should have grabbed one of these years ago. now a search is on for a red head. Excuse me for my ignorance, but what is a Tonker?

The Tonker ( www.eminence.com/guitar_speaker_detail.asp?model=THETONKER&speaker_size=12&SUB_CAT_ID=4 ) is a 12" guitar speaker made by Eminence, in their "Redcoat" series of speakers that are presumably inspired by Celestions. I had a Tonker in my Mazerati for a while. At first I liked it, but it just seemed to be "too much" of everything - it's really loud, really efficient, really clean, tons of lows. I still have it, maybe I should try it again.

Cool! When I had my Mazerati I thought it was the best amp for a single coil bridge pickup I ever heard!
