You'll have a blast!
We practice kind of loud but I've been using mine with Air Brake, 1/2 power with the high and the lo vols 1:30 to 3:00. WOW!!!
Did a little bit of slide with it the other night too. OH YEAH!!!

Congrats on Remedy. A pair of 12 Greenies would get you those killer Marshall tones.

Well, first off this mother is LOUD!! My bass player couldn't believe it was set to half power (20 watts). This amp is definitely needs to be played on mid to larger stages. WOW!!!! I'm talking about superlead here. It reminds me of my 71 superbass conversion. Nice tone coming from this thing. I need more time to experiment with my settings, but initially my settings are:
bass-12:00 mid- 2:00 treb- 3:00 high vol-2:00 low vol-8:30-9:00
I had 2 -16 Ohm cabs into an 8 Ohm load.
My cabinet has 2 Vintage 30's and 2 25 watt r.i. greenbacks in an X pattern.
the other cab. (not mine) has 4 old peavey pre-5150 speakers.
I have 1 cab on each side of the drummer. (this fills the stage nicely being a 3 piece)
I need to pick up my Z Best this week so I can get rid of my buddies PV. I'll probably load the Best with a Vintage 30 and a g12H.
Anyhow, I'm really diggin the amp and look forward to many gigs and practices with it.

Get a Brake Lite or AirBrake... When you get the Hi and Lo past 1:00 you'll be getting some tones that you needed pedals to get in the past.

My Les Paul has a dark tone to it with bb2 + 3 pups. The amp was a little too bassy when I put the lo past 10:00. But, I was getting great tones from the amp with out pedals. I normally never use pedals, unless the amp is set for a clean tone, then I can have both clean and dirty. Thanks for the tip. 77

BEST AMP!
I always wanted a Plexi.
I am a Trower, Hendrix, Clapton freak. Got a Remedy and never have I thought about a Marshall again!
I have had it about a month, and I am amazed everytime I play it.
I knew freom the first note I played through that amp this was going to be a beautiful relationship.
Troy.

I'm on my way to practice and I'm bringing my new Z Best cabinet. I'll be running a 4x12 on one side and the Z best on the other. As soon as I can scrape up some more cash, I'll have another Z best to replace the 4x12.
I can't remember the last time I was this excited about going to practice. It just keeps getting better and better with each purchase!!!
