man derek sure sounds great with that prs head and warren does awesome with a soldano which is a little heavy for my taste, as i cant seem to get much out of a gainy amp, but i dony really think of their tones as vintage marshal which the remedy is being compared to. I could be very wrong about that however. Derek prolly has the coolest clean slide tone ever...very vocal like

I Don't want to burst-yer-bubble....but you can get Duane & Dickey form a MAZ Junior too if you have the right Les Paul. I hope to hear a Remedy next week at Fatsound. Mark

Toss in an OCD and almost dead on to my ears ;D Been using the R66, with a combinations of F dragon to get Warren, and the OCD to get close to Derek (but without a slide). Even at low volume with the Airbrake I can get fairly close.

Well basically i know i couldnt get dwayne or dickies tone but something in that ballpark is what im after. Also there are a ton of outside gigs that are available here and i need something a little stouter than the maz jr i think as the soundboards are not always the greatest and everyone uses twins and marshalls so it can be daunting to keep up. i dont want to sound like everyone else and thats the main reason for my interest in z's

Yea my Rx jr would not cut it in a Large out door venue W/o a mike...that's why the name is dead on R E M E D Y ...The bass notes on the RX jr fart out with a 1x12 when doing Cachunk-cachunck on a low E-1-5 but not the REMEDY I have only played with 20 watts at barley On..All is good
