looking forward to trying it with my maz gt, as well as my custom '30 and jtm 45 heads.
right now, they get no use. little baby next door, and volume-sensitive hound. my 9-volt marshall gets all the playing time.
should see it monday.

It will help quite a bit, especially with the little baby. Don't know about the volume-sensitive hound!

No way it's gonna keep it quite for the GT . This beast is just too load...

sorry, been meaning to post, but too busy playing the guitar to type about it. the airbrake works great with the maz gt. actually, works great with all three of my amps. i had lots of experience with hotplates. no complaints, but the amp does need to be tweaked to compensate for the change in tone as more attenuation is applied. i like the airbrake, seems more transparent. i set the amps close to where i'd run them without attenuation, and don't really have to mess with anything. i find for home use, i'm mostly using it with the bedroom setting, no louder than halfway. even then, i don't find it to be overly buzzy, much less than i know the hotplate to be. No way it's gonna keep it quite for the GT . This beast is just too load... actually, the airbrake at maximum attenuation is quiet enough that my dog, who really freaks if it's too loud, is fine. the hotplate definitely gets lower volumes, but sounds more compressed than the airbrake.

I'm expecting mine this week - I can't wait. I've got a Fender Deluxe Reverb RI that I'm looking forward to trying it out on. Meanwhile - I'm saving up for my 1st Z amp
