I put one on layaway at my local shop after playing it for 5 MINUTES yesterday. Unbelievable.
But I haven't been able to find any bias information on the Z site and the manual doesn't appear to be up yet either. Is it fixed bias? Cathode bias?

I'm soon to get a 1x12 combo @ 8 ohms. I guess another 1x12 cab @ 8 ohms would give me 4 ohms total if the ext jack is wired paralell.

I've run my Z 210 cab (8 ohm) from the extension while still plugged into the G12-65 in my Galaxie combo .... stil ain't blowed-up yet. it sounds very, very nice and full ;D ;D ;D and, iirc there was a thread a while-back about Galaxie and its ability to deal with different ohm(s) and cabinet(s) cheers always, eh Joel

Thanks Joel!
I'll search for the thread.
2x10's and a 12; I imagine that must sound real good!

Just obtained a Galaxie from Fat Sound Guitars. What is the setting range for bias current in a Galaxie? It is not indicated in the Bias Note column www.drzamps.com/biasnotes.html. Also, I'm thinking of using the Weber Bias Rite to set bias when it's time to change tubes. Would the Weber Bias Rite be usable for the Galaxie? I can't keep paying my town's amp tech everytime I change tubes and besides it's a month's worth of waiting to do so. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Brent recommended to me 28ma with 6L6. That means don't bias at 70% dissipation. That's too hot for this amp.
