I have had my Galaxie for awhile now and due to family situations I have been constrained to mostly in my home office jams. With airbrake on the setting before bedroom it was still a bit loud for our condo living situation but I cranked it when I had the chance. Well the gloves came off last Thursday nite. Rehearsal room with almost perfect sound proofing. I had my G&L ASAT Classic semi-hollow as the weapon of choice. Since this jam was based around a country-ish vibe I ran her a bit clean to begin with. For a more trashy country band sound it is perfect. I used an old Ibanez analog delay and it was just so nice getting the degradation on the delay tones. After a few beers my old punk and rock n roll roots took hold and it was onto channel 2 and open up the Airbrake full speed ahead. This made my evening. The G&L(tele) just screamed and I was getting a very Marshallish tone with that beautiful slow swell feedback while holding a note. The smiles on the face of my fellow band mates was the icing on the cake. Good tone makes everyone step up another notch and it was the best time I have had playing in a couple years. Luckily I was right in front of my amp and the majority of the volume passed me by. My poor buddies on rhythm guitar and drums said they got a bit of ear ring Oh well, next time I will try not to blast them! Can't wait to play again this week and work on some more tone. Y'all have a great nite!

Be careful man...once you hit that footswitch, and cross over to channel 2, it's hard to find your way home...
