I'm new to the forum. It's Great to see the SRZ back in production. My SRZ is my pride-n-joy!!!! It's pushing 13 years old and has been tough as nails night after night! It's my JCM, Boogie Killer! I take my SRZ from Hendrix, SRV to Journey tones every time I hit the stage!!!! The tonal possibilities Are ENDLESS!!! The Harder it's pushed the better it sounds! Keep Spreading the word!!! DR Z is The Real Deal!!!

Hey muzacman02,
Welcome.
I like the range you are getting; what are you doing to accomplish this wide range of tones? Guitar, effects, tone control changes and/or...?

I play mostly Blues and Classic rock but, I also acheive serious Saturation sounds such as Nickel Back, Theroy of a Deadman etc... I usaually will push My SRZ into this by employing a Radial Plexi tube Overdrive and or My Keeley Modified TS 808 w full Baked mods and I run 100w Greenback Celestion Marshall and or late 70's style Mesa boogie Celestion V30 & 200w EV loaded 4x12 Cabs. My SR Z head is an RH style!! It's what sets me apart from all other players in my area! Just keep tinkering until you hear what you like! If you own a Dr Z you are already there! It only gets better! When you Start pushing it!

HI muzacman02,
Thanks for your equipment information and I hear what you are saying. I have been experimenting with the Barber Burn Unit and so far, like what it brings to my Dr Z EL34 amps and my 66.
