after i turn on my z 38 combo and after switching on the standby, about 15 seconds later there are 2 pronounced "thumps" they are about 5 seconds apart, they seem to be coming from the speakers (duh). the onliest thing i have done, after i wore out the first set of power tubes after a year or so was to replace them with the same type power tubesand the sovtek rectifier tube with a used mesa boogie branded gz34. any ideas on this? i know noises are hard to tag without hearing them, but maybe someone else has had this happen. the amp sounds fine after this noise is gone. james

James,
I read your post. Don't know exactly waht would cause this. I'd probably ping either the Dr., or Myles. Question, is this a reverb model?
