I am relatively new to this forum, but even more proudly, a new owner of a MAZ 18 Jr NR 2X12 combo that I picked up on Ebay. The amp is pristine, red with tan grill, but I am not sure of the dating. Notably, on the rear of the amp is factory inscribed "FAT TONE". Is this common for a certain year? Amp also has a pair 30W Celestion 70th Anniversery SE. Any info about dating Dr. Z amps would be really appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome to the tribe. You have a mighty fine amp. Give it lots of time, for Maz Jr love is a long and winding road. There are more tones in there than you might imagine. Here is a link to a tone settings chart that may be enlightening. www.a42.net/maz18/
