I finally tried my KT45 with an airbrake last night. It certainly had a noticeable effect. Nonetheless, even on the bedroom setting with the rheostat maxed (the lowest setting, or highest level of attenuation) it was still REALLY loud. I had the volume set between 9 and 10 o’clock, and it was still blazing loud. Obviously, I knew what I was getting myself into with a ~ 65 watt amp, but I just moved into a new apartment with much thinner walls! Any ideas?

I see you have a Z Best - is that what you're playing through? If so, get a smaller 1x12 cab with an inefficient speaker.

Yea, I tried it with a 1x12 cab with a Red Fang as well. I think I may try something much less efficient like a Celestion G12-65.

I think I may try something much less efficient like a Celestion G12-65. Hey, I use those speakers in both 112 and 212 formats. They are definitely good for keeping the volume lower. They also are not a very "clean" speaker. They have a natural early breakup to them. This also helps to get "crunch" tone at a lower volume level. Cheers, Blair

The Celestion Greenback Heritage is a very nice speaker with only 96db!! If you put it in a closed back cab it'll be a big difference with the Z-Best.
