Just got my brand new Z best cab! Finally moved into my new place, plugged the KT45 into the Z best around midnight last night. It really is pretty amazing how different it sounds when placed vertically vs. horizontally. I was really digging it vertically last night, especially to reduce bass reflex, since I do have neighbors! While I am totally thrilled & satisfied with the Z best, I am going to run it parallel with my 8 ohm, 1x12 Red Fang cabinet this weekend, into the 4 ohm tap, thus giving me a 3x12! ;D Hopefully the experiment will yield worthwhile results! BTW, Benttop(Steve), or Myles, do you guys or anyone else, use an airbrake with the KT? Steve, I know you said you used both airbrakes and hotplates for different amps.

Jamie, I think an attenuator is a must with the KT-45. I'm one of the ones who prefer the Hotplate. I had an Airbrake, but sold it when I A/B'd it the the Hotplate.

Give the Z Best cab a little time to grow on you. I run my 6545 through it. It took me awhile to warm up to this cab and now i'm glad I didn't get hasty and sell it off.
