I just got one and man, does this thing open up a RXES! Lots of different combos now! I love it!
Just one quick question though, do you guys get a buzzing sound when you're in bedroom setting? I'm getting one, but I'm really thinking it's the EF-86, as the thing's really microphonic right now.

No buzzing going on here. If your EF86 is microphonic you should have a lot more trouble at high volume than at low.

Just on the high volume on the amp, correct? That's where I'm getting most of it. Up around 6. Doesn't matter where the Airbrake is, but then again, that just takes the level after the power amp down.

A microphonic tube is going to give you more trouble as the vibration goes up. You get that with more volume. I've not heard of a situation where a microphonic tube caused problems at low volume simply because the amp was turned up and attenuated. But I learn something new every day - just because I haven't heard of it doesn't make it impossible. Have you tried changing out that microphonic tube to see what happens?

Nope, I don't have another EF-86 that's not microphonic. The OD on the amp just sounds mushy and lacks definition and has that buzz. It gets worse with the Overdose switched on as well. That's what's making me think EF-86.

Bedroom setting is where I use my Air Brake most, and I don't get any buzz out of it at all.
