Ok , I am in. After a month of checking it out I ordered a Jr head and a 12" blue cab. I really went back and forth between the maz jr and the Rx . Why doesn't the Rx jr have reverb? What's everybody using? Why is the master volume on the rear ( it was on the combo I checked out, is it the same for the head?). I went with the jr cuz I do play loud but my gigs are small venues and bars/ conventions. Come on UPS ! Thanks,

about the reverb i can hazard a guess.
the doc has most likely tried it and found it too detrimental to the tone of the amp. Z amps tend to sound as good as they do because they have simple circuit paths.
of course you probably know that there are Maz jrs. with reverb or without, but i think the reverb doesnt make as big a loss of tone in the Maz jr. it is a very noticeable difference in the "flavor" though.
the master volume is on the back of the head version also.

If you pair it up with a nice speaker and cabinet, you won't miss the reverb... that is unless you are doing the Duane Eddy, **** Dale and Link Wray and other reverb dependent type stuff.

I use a Holy Grail Plus. It works great with my RXJr.
