Hi. #53 arrived here last night, and boy what joy and inspiration to play. With a strat I can go Buddy Holly, **** Dale, Jimi, SRV, chorused LA cheese, Blackmore - you name it. It takes my pedalboard very well and what ever way to tweek those knobs, it always sounds good. Wit the Tele it sound much less Fender-ish, but of course great. With the I-35 I can go from Wes to T-Bone to Frisell/Sco to Carlton/Robben and then to some serious Malcolm/Angus. I'm stunned. It's very dynamic, loud, interactive, cutting without being shrill and piercing etc. Yes - I'm happy. This is a very good year indeed.

I just recieved a Z 4X10 two days a go and thats the ticket!! Plenty Fender with a Tele! Sounds righteous with Greenies also in my opinion. Neck pick up with a Strat and OCD in LP mode with gain a 9'oclock is on point!!

I've used both the Z-Best and Z 4x10. I really like the 4x10 the best. It sounds way bigger than a 4x10 - it sounds like an 8x10. It's a huge wall of sound.

I dont own one yet, but I play one in the store frequently, and I prefer the sound with an open back as opposed to the ZBest. It has a bottom end that needs the breathe a bit more than a closed back allows. I felt the same way with the Stingray. Must be those Ken Fischer output trannies . Harold

Hi.
Yeah, I have to agree about the open-back cab. I did try mine through my 1960A 4X12" cab, and for my taste it was waay to much bottom. That configuration did however move some serious amount of air though ;D, but not to my liking.

Jan EZG-50... big bottom, she's got 'em (i think i just had a Sinal Tap flashback moment). no joke, the EZG-50 has got some major "junk in the trunk". i've been playing mine with my convertible 1x12 and 2x12, open and closed configurations. i prefer the EZG-50 with an open back cab, but it's still great with the closed back configuration. when playing with the closed configuration i need to lower the bass setting to about 9:00 and it still has plenty of bass.
