What od's are you using with success with your Jr? I just sold off several od's including a Box of Rock and Zendrive in anticipation of getting the Jr. I'm really looking to go minimalistic with my next board, relying on the amp more than the pedals for drive. I do still have my v.2 OCD and a Bad Monkey on the board for my 18w TMB and they have never let me down yet.

If you play with distortion all the time, you may not need any pedals at all! Just leave the OD on.

Yeah, with the OD on, and volume above about noon, you will get the best sounding overdrive you've ever had. Pedals need not apply...

Like they sed above. Flying Dragon can push on the front end nicely and helps with a nice drive. The OCD works great too.

The cool thing with this amp is that you have choices. You can choose to run it pretty clean and use an OD pedal, or you can choose to run it pretty dirty and use your guitar volume to dial out the dirt. You can choose to use the OD switch to boost your solos, or you can choose to leave the OD on and do it with your guitar or a pedal. It's very versatile that way.

Hey! I have been using an ocd a Analogman KOT and no OD just the amp up. They Both sound Great. my other pedal is a TC Nova system which covers 26 other stellar effects. I go to a gig W the Nova and 1 OD about 6 lbs worth of pedals.

I really like the Kelley Plexi Tube Screamer because it has like all his mods in one pedal. Works great for beefing up a Tele or Strat taking it into the higher-gain realm with out sounding cheesy.
Also the RC Booster (the white one) is killer for that clean boost!

I've used and loved: RC Booster, Zendrive and Crunchbox.
Every pedal I've tried with this amp sounded great. It's a great all around amp.
Good luck! Jason
