You are in for such a sonic treat! 20 minutes with this bad boy and I am in tone heaven! Giddy to be exact. Haven't tried any pedals yet...sounds amazing straight in.
My 335 sounds so sweet through this musical instrument. It is so much more than an amp! It's what I have heard in my head all along.

Congrats on the purchase. You'll love it I have no doubt. And the 1x12 is an excellent choice as well. I have the same set up except I've got a G12H. This thing sound good through everything. Enjoy.

Thanks for all the kind words and helpful advice! I am really getting anxious to play it. It won't be here for a week but I'm amped. Good to hear that Jr sounds good with a 335 because I use one on a fair number of songs with the band. I'm hoping that it will hold its own with a drummer and the other players twin. I think is should because i can hold my own so far with my Deluxe Reverb or Pro Reverb. I think I may have to add another cab for outdoor gigs but at this point I am just going to mic the cab.
I will be playing strats, a tele, and 335. I think it should sound killer with a Ric 360-12.
I can't wait . . .

Mic the cab and you'll be fine. You'll be surprised at how loud this little amp is.

Also experiment with the lo and hi inputs with your different axes along with the OverDose. There are many different textures you can get and if you switch guitars at the same gig, knowing some of the characteristics will help with quick adjustments while gigging. The RxJrS covers alot of ground. Even if it's not a red 'un.

i use mine with a lopoline deep open back cab with a celestion gold, bass backed off, and the mid almost dimed, treble at 3 oclock, low input, master halfway, volume on about 4,, nice clean then the boost has a simple overdrive treat, its all there for a simple tone..

I'm officially a Z dood! ;D ;D ;D
I spent 2 hours with her today and played a strat, tele, and 335! WOW! There are so many great sounds here. I love the percussiveness and immediacy. The amp allows the characteristics of each guitar to show through. The character of the PUPs and the volume and tone settings on the guitar shine through. The eq on the amp is very versatile and the ability to dial in the hair with the volume and master is great!
The C-Blue is much happier with the panel removed from the convertible cab. This rig goes from sweet, to chimey, to edgy, to balls out rock. I LUV IT!! ;D ;D
Thanks to all for tips on the eq settings with different guitars. Thanks also for all the great discussion and answers to my questions so that I felt reasonably comfortable making the purchase without playing it first.
Next gig is two weeks and I can't wait! ;D

Isn't it nice to finally have a Z? I know how it feels my friend. When I got my Jr. it was like I had achieved new levels of tone I'd never experienced. Congrats on the amp. Glad we didn't steer you wrong.
Oh yeah, and here's a little Karma for the happy event.
