Anybody tried a Barber Direct Drive Super Sport with their Ghia yet? To my ear it is a perfect match. Beautiful tones at just about any gain setting!

dzghia - How do you have the internal trim pot set? I have mine set for the Marshall type sound. What guitar are you using and what type of tone are you going for?

Lets see......I have the harmonics trim at around 9, the bass at around 11 and the last one at 2 I think. I'm not possitive on the settings there but it gives me a bluesy tone with just enough bite on it. I have two DDSS now and will do some playing around with one and use the other as a reference point to return to and compare. Great pedals!!

I don't know about the DDSS, but I have the regular DD, and it sounds great with the CG-great range, tone control adds to the sounds. I like the push/pull control out- it sounds more alive. I also recommend the Keeley compressor to this chain. The notes really pop of the fretoard. I find the CG compresses naturally at high vol level, but the Keeley is graet when you are in the non-stage vol regions.
