Instead of [ url ] and [ /url ] in front and back, change the tags to [ img ] and [ /img ] (but leave out the spaces).

Just trying out my first picture post - bear with me. ;-) Is that Arun's old head? He had two of them at one point, didn't he?

So after 8 long weeks of waiting my Ray has finally arrived. Here are a couple of pictures... And one of the 20th anniversary emblem...

I love this amp. My only regret is that I didn't order it in Blonde. I don't have Black with tan grill but I think I would have preferred blonde.

Ok I give up. It seems I can post photos on every forum I belong to except this one.
I use the image tags and nothing shows up.

Here's Stingray #23. The pic is a little dark. I really need to take a better photo. The Ray deserves better. I've changed the EF86 and the 12AX7 to NOS Telefunkens. The rectifier is a NOS Mullard. Power tubes are GT #5. The cabinet is an Avatar Vintage 112 with a Hellatone 30, which is a broken-in, relabeled Celestion G12H30. A friend and I tried every conceivable amp/ speaker combo. We tried Blues, Golds, and everything else we could find. We both agreed that the Ray sounded best with the G12H30 in a closed-back cabinet. So I ordered this right away.

I'm just wondering, does the Ray,6545 and Galaxie all share the same size cab?

Its really great to know a fellow White Rock guy is also nuts for Zzzz, That Stingray face plate looks killer! I got my Mini Z head and 2x10 convertible cab a few months ago now and have another 4 weeks to go for my Maz Jr head with reverb, you can try my 2x10 if I can try your 1x12?

Proud new PARENT! I'm sure nobody will be suprised to hear that after a minor amount of tweaking I was quite literally shaking with nervous excitement. This is absolutely the best amp that I have ever plugged into! I couldn't be happier with my purchases. The guitar was bought the same day (yesterday) as the amp and both are now my favorites in the (small) stable. ;D

Well guys, there's a new addition to the collection. My other Zs were getting lonely since I sold my SRZ. So I bought #34 to keep them company. I think it's time for a new family photo.

Actual White Rock or South Surrey? I live in Ladner and will be ordering a red/black Stangray tomorrow. I'm almost certain that I will be the only Dr. Z owner in the area.

how cool is that? VERY!! that amp is soo cool, even Galactus will be in awe MR Radd ;D Thank you! Yeah - I totally dig it too - I figured when I recovered the head it was going to be a love it or hate it type of thing. The cab is awesome sounding too - the Blues finally broke in - at least they have some. I've got about 40-50 hours of loud play on them. Found I had to turn my cut up one day - that was the clue - the harshness of new Blues was gone. Sounded good before - but now, oh my! A thing of beauty. Galactus beware!!!!

The last Stangray kind of looks Familiar?? It is the one on this same page wearing the Anniversary Badge!!! Thanks again, Craigmccle! My SRZ sounds Huge through the cab as well, I used the 2x12 for the first time, it was awesome. For smaller gigs I'm gonna leave the 4x12 at home. Hope your Matchless is doing well?
