Amps of doom. The Therapy blonds on the amp of doom pic How do you compare the 6545 with the SRZ and the KT45?

Amps of doom. The Therapy blonds on the amp of doom pic How do you compare the 6545 with the SRZ and the KT45? Mike, It's really hard to compare...it's like apples to oranges. Right now the 6545 is sporting Brimar preamp tubes and EL34LS output tubes. The SRZ has stock preamp tubes and JJ KT77's. Amp to amp the 6545 kills the SRZ right now. The 6545 is smoother and browner with just as much gain. That's kind of weird as I really like the KT77s. I think it has everything to do with the preamp tubes. I've had Brimars in the SRZ before and will put them back in again soon. Right now the SRZ is much brighter and thinner and cuts more which sounds good for some sounds but the 6545 sounds like EVH. The SRZ has that chainsaw thing going on.
