???Hey All, Just received the Studio Lead Head I mentioned in previous post (see NEWBEE...) and I am seriously bummed. First, I should tell you that my goal is to have one single channel amp head that gives me a medium output, spongey and dynamic, warm clean tone with a nice lush reverb. That's where I'm coming from. The Studio Lead does the tone part, but the reverb is so noisy that, for my purposes, it is useless. Very frustrating, because I dumped alot of gear to get this amp. The 12AT7 is seated properly, and the cables are secure. The tank itself looks fine inside. Is this inherent to this model, or maybe the head version vs combo? I played a MAZ invasion combo about 4 years ago, and I remember that I thought it had the perfect clean reverb sound, and I don't remember noticing any noise at all. I'm trying to fight off a major case of BUYERS REMORSE right now, because I gave up a Cornford and 2 Boogie amps, and now I have no verb! Please help! Thanks alot for your suggestions, T Money

You should also check all of the cables for good grounds and such. And if you can't get it working, you most surely can send it to the Doc and he'll put it right. Not sure what the charges might be, but he's a fair man. Give him a call and ask.
