I admit it -- I'm tube stupid. But before I start swapping tubes on my MAZ 18 jr NR, I just want to make sure that v1 is closest to the side of the amp, and v3 is closest to the power tubes (JJ EL84s). Thank you.

V1 is the tube closest to your input jack.

Uh-oh, now I'm really confused. Does that make V1 closest to the power tubes? No sir, V1 will be the one farthest from your power tubes. When looking at the back of your amp it will the one located on the far right side. Ray K.

The first go round, I thought we were talking about the speaker input jack. I apologize if I scared anyone! ;D
