Here's the reconfigured board, set up for stereo use. Turns out I like overdrives. Sounds great with the MAZ 18 and the Z 28.

Here's my newly put together board. I am missing my Diamond J Drive in this photo and may try to squeeze it in somehow as i love how it sounds with my Ghia. So far, just loving these pedals through mt Ghia and that Doc's 210 cab. I had a Psilocybe and sold it--it's one of those pedals I'd like to have again someday. Great phaser.

I love that Phaser. I actually have found it to be the perfect bass phaser as I play bass primarily but I alternate between the Psilocybe and my Analogman 74 re-issue Phase90 which is a bit subtle for me still very sweet.

Ok, you know how we always say we're finally done with our pedal boards, only to find something else we absolutely NEED lol? Well I really feel like I'm done now... I am so ridiculously happy with this board. Woohoo! Everything sounded like utter sweetness when I played at church this morning.

Ha ha! It was a sunny day and certainly no reflection of my complete lack of photographic skills. I have already re worked the board since I took this photo on Friday to add my Diamond J Drive back into the mix. It just sounds too good to leave behind. I think the wah may end up beside the board as I am lusting for a Wampler Faux Tape Echo or possibly their reverb pedal to give me a different flavor then the Carbon Copy.

My wampler analog echo is the best delay pedal i have...it is gold to me! Kills the MXR CARBON COPY, try it you will see for yourself...I like delays to be subtle...the wampler just seems to blend better in the background...its crazy. I've listened to just about every delay out there..I'm an analog delay fanatic..lol

Although I picked up a slightly used Empress Superdelay this week and I think my delay search may be over. This thing is really amazing and with 8 pre sets, I can call up favorite settings on the fly. Even used, this is the most expensive pedal I ever bought but its really impressive. I never realized just how dark and muffled the Carbon Copy is! Not necessarily a bad thing, but its a one trick pony for sure.

Here is my updated board as of today. I am getting some serious hum from my wah sitting close to my Pedal Power II which is mounted under the board. Moving the hum off to the side of the board solves this so I may be forced to have my wah beside the board. This of course will allow more room for a few more pedals! I had the exact problem myself last year (same board, same power supply, same wah). If you listen carefully, the PP2 is probably breathing noise into any pedals mounted directly above it! Still, more room for pedals, as you say

Its a little frustrating considering that the PP2 is not cheap. I noticed some noise for sure other then the wah so may have to trouble shoot a bit. Here is my updated board as of today. Been a bit trial and error...some pedals are more resistant than others, it seems. I had to move my Empress Tremolo out of the way after a recent pedal shuffle.

The problem here is we have so many outstanding boards, it's hard to pick a favorite.

Well, I'm not gonna win any awards for boo-teek here..... but it's a second pedal board for me. I just finished today. Using it for a new project, 80's hair and such. Sounds pretty good actually.

Awesome looking board Nicholas! Seeing all these boards, how the hell do you make em look so neat and tidy? No Wires running all over the place and what not? I have a Gator pedal tote...wires all over the top of the board...it drives me nuts now that I see the neat jobs that can be done

Know what you mean Mark- My last board was a Gator Powered Pedal Tote. Looked like a plate of spaghetti with pedals on top I took my time with the PT Mini

I have a Gator pedal tote...wires all over the top of the board...it drives me nuts now that I see the neat jobs that can be done Thanks Brit and MarkN ! As far as the neatness.... I hide the mess under neath. I use George L's cables so they can be cut to the correct length. I cover the board with blue painters tape and layout the pedals and mark locations for power and audio. Then drill holes. If you GeorgeL's or similar cables you just need to drill a hole big enough for the wire itself, and not a hole the size of a nickle for the plug end to pass through. I cut all the power supply wires also to allow for a small hole, then solder them underneath. This particular board has two pedals with AC power supplies, so I used an extension cord into the pedal power, and did my best to secure the mess. I stapleled an old underwear band over it to help secure the plugs. For the regular audio and power securement I use these little adhesive square that have loops for zip ties. I also cut off the wall end of the pedal power and mounted a recessed male plug in the grey PCV top right. Now I can just plug any old extension cord into the side of the board. But when I only had one board, and was always trying different pedals..... it looked like the snake pit from Indiana Jones. Having a couple purpose buit boards works for me, but it can get costly..
