Here are some Pineys..... I hand stain these ol' barnwood slabs.......have ya ever tried to stain pine and get it nice ? Why all the trouble? Thin. Staining allows for a the thinest finish you will find other than bare wood and some tru-Oil. Each his own.....wood is dead and these are electrics,so what it matter how thick or thin ? I ain't smart enough to explain why......thinner finish sounds better. Each his own.
